We are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented intern to join us in a fixed-term HR & Recruiting Assistant role, supporting the day-to-day operations of our People Operations team.

In this role, you will support recruitment activities, assist with company event organisation, and contribute to a variety of ad-hoc HR tasks. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and the People & Culture Coordinator, and report directly to the HR Director.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your organisational, creative, and problem-solving skills while supporting our mission of helping people become carbon heroes. This full-time, fixed-term position (6 months) is available on a hybrid basis for candidates based in the Helsinki area.

What you will do:

• Support recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, sourcing, interview scheduling, and candidate communication

• Assist in maintaining accurate candidate and employee records in HR and recruitment systems

• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires

• Support the organisation of company events

• Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks and ad-hoc People Operations projects

• Oversee practical needs at the Helsinki office

What we are looking for:

• Education or ongoing studies in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field

• Interest in HR, recruitment, or People Operations; previous internship or part-time experience is a plus 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Fluent communication skills in English, as it is our working language

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

• Proactive, collaborative, and able to handle confidential information with care

• Comfortable working with digital tools (e.g. ATS, HR systems, Google Workspace)

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and service-focused attitude
