Manager of Academy & Learning Strategy

We are looking for a Manager of Academy & Learning Strategy to guide the next phase of our learning ecosystem. Today, our education, thought leadership and capacity building efforts are spread across One Click LCA, SimaPro, and PRé Sustainability. Your role is to bring coherence, cohesion, direction and make us the frontrunner in capacity building and EPD.
You will set the Academy’s strategy, enable subject-matter experts, and build a unified approach to learning, thought leadership and capacity building. Your work will help practitioners and both internal and external partners gain the knowledge they need to decarbonize and support our mission to make credible sustainability insights accessible at scale.

The Academy sits at the heart of our ecosystem, serving as the intersection between One Click LCA, SimaPro and PRé Sustainability. It offers a comprehensive learning environment where sustainability professionals can access high-quality training, practical tools, and expert insights to develop and deepen their skills in LCA, EPDs, broader sustainability methodologies and Capacity building.
This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe.
What you will do:
Strategy and planning
Shape a cohesive strategy enabling the company’s vision and mission with regard to Thought Leadership, Education, and Capacity building.
Develop annual and quarterly plans aligned with adoption, ARR goals and supportive of internal stakeholders’ KPIs.
Align and coordinate priorities across Customer Success, Sales/BD, Consulting, Marketing, Product, and Academy Industry Education Experts.
Training program design and delivery
Lead the development of a cohesive portfolio of learning programs and initiatives addressing target audiences (students, LCA practitioners, Customers).
Implement effective onboarding pathways and maintain up-to-date training content, both for internal and external purposes.
Ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
Platform ownership
Own and optimize the digital Academy platform for a seamless, engaging user experience, in collaboration with Marketing.
Maintain consistent structure and branding across all learning assets.
Growth and impact
Partner with Marketing to drive enrollment and engagement through targeted campaigns.
Track key metrics – such as influenced new ARR growth, ARR expansion, reputation, certification completions, and onboarding success – and iterate to improve impact.
What you need:
Leadership and strategic vision
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, and create alignment across Customer Success, Consulting, Sales/BD, Marketing and Product.
A strategic, forward-looking mindset with the ability to translate long-term ambitions into clear short- and medium-term priorities, plans, and scalable learning solutions.
Program execution and collaboration
Solid project management skills to drive multiple initiatives with high quality and on-time delivery.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Education Experts, subject-matter specialists, and commercial teams.
Content and learning expertise
Strong foundational knowledge of LCA and sustainability, enabling you to ensure scientific accuracy, credibility, and relevance in all Academy programs.
A genuine affinity for learning and training, with the ability to turn complex technical content into engaging, effective learning experiences.
Digital and AI-enhanced capabilities
Affinity with digital marketing to align with Marketing on promoting Academy programs and supporting user engagement.
Experience with responsibility, ownership, management and implementation of an online learning platform.
Comfortable with using AI tools to enhance content creation, workflows, and the overall learning experience.
