We are looking for an experienced Delphi Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and modernization of our core software solutions built in Delphi, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, performance, and usability. This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Delphi and related technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Optimize performance and scalability of applications.
- Integrating applications with other technologies (e.g., APIs, databases, or web components).
- Document technical specifications, processes, and code to support long-term maintainability.
- Support the migration of certain functionalities to newer platforms, where needed.
What you need:
- Strong knowledge of Object Pascal and Delphi frameworks.
- Ability and experience in implementing efficient, maintainable, and complex algorithms.
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Python and C#/.NET is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
- Proficiency in English, as it is our working language
