We are looking for a Financial Controller to help further develop and enhance our accounting and reporting structure and processes to support our continued growth at One Click LCA group. You'll be joining a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly and international work environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position is available on a hybrid basis for candidates based in Helsinki.

What you will do:

• Financial Reporting:

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

- Ensure that all financial statements and reports are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring prompt and accurate completion.

• Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the finance department.

• Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.

- Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Tax Management:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.

- Coordinate with external tax advisors to optimize tax planning and compliance.

• Strategic Influence:

- Assist the CFO in developing long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals.

- Participate in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration processes.

• Risk Management:

- Identify and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements for group companies and managing audit processes for these entities. You will be responsible for preparing the financial statements for One Click LCA Group and handeling the audit process.
• Several years of solid experience in accounting and month-end closing processes.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, as it will be the primary language of communication.
• Background in Big 4 audit firms (preferred).
• Experience in team leadership, or, if no formal leadership role, experience in leading projects or initiatives and getting others on board.
• Experience with system implementations, ideally for a multi-entity group; experience with Netsuite is a plus.
• A hands-on, proactive approach, with a strong desire to collaborate closely with the team - not just as a leader, but also as an active contributor.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
